Sovannaphum Life Assurance Plc. is a joint venture company between Canadia Investment Holding PLC., the holding company of Canadia Bank, and Muang Thai Life Assurance PCL.

Canadia Investment Holdings PLC is headquartered in Cambodia and one of the country’s largest and most successful financial investment companies.  Its business includes the operation of commercial banks.

Muang Thai is the IGP Network Partner for Thailand. It is among the top three insurance companies in Thailand, as well as a leading national underwriter of group life and health insurance plans.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance granted Sovannaphum a full license as a life insurance company in December 2015, and it started operations in 2016.
